Le barrel de lumiere

Always on the Go, Captain Edouard D. was in between the Canaries island and Malta
when he stopped to visit us in Paris.
Beside sailing beautiful wooden ketch, he loves to skate,
so we went for a cruise along the river in the "city of light” to find “ Le barrel de Lumiere”.

Moonlight at pe'ahi

The field was empty
We rode in happiness
The sun sat, the light started shimmering
It was pure madness.

Suddenly the broad disk of the moon arose
Drops of bliss
We composed
and are changed forever by the Moonlight at Pe'ahi

The name Peʻahi originally applied to an ancient Hawaii land area (ahupuaʻa) at
Coordinates20°55′00″N 156°17′00″W

Like many ancient land areas, it extended from the northern slopes of Haleakalā to the sea-level Peʻahi gulch. The name Peʻahi means "wave" in the Hawaiian language, in the sense of a fanning or beckoning motion of the hand.
Peʻahi the nearby ancient area name, is also know as the Jaws surf break.

AT SEA

Here I came to the very edge
where nothing at all needs saying,
everything is absorbed through weather and the sea,
and the moon swam back,
its rays all silvered,
and time and again the darkness would be broken
by the crash of a wave,
and every day on the balcony of the sea,
wings open, fire is born,
and everything is blue again like morning.
